Rain rain rain

With all this rain (and flooding) I want to see pictures of the lake and water fall. (Hopefully not damaged like the last big flooding)

Grandpa

Grandpa played to hard.  It was about 5 inches of open scalp.  Grandma could have had a better picture, but she was more concerned about him than documenting the accident. :) Grandma couldn't get him to go in for stitches, but Uncle Garry convinced him he really did need them.  Everyone at the emergency room commented that yes, it was a good thing he came in etc... In the end, when the Dr. was getting ready to actually stitch him up, he found out that grandpa was allergic to novicane, they ended up  just taping up the cut and bandaged it.  I don't think anyone will be able to talk grandpa into going in for stitches again.  We better just have some tape and gauze on hand.

Sydnie & Dallin

Sydnie and Dallin....it was a great day.  We started out with rain but ended up with nice weather.

I'm ENGAGED!

Well, I know that there are many of you who already know, but just so everyone knows, it's official, I'm engaged!  I will be marrying Julie Peiffer on August 6 in the Washington DC temple!  She posted on my blog about how I proposed if you are interested in reading that.  I know that I can probably rather easily get most of your addresses from my mom or somewhere else, but just so I have all the address I need in one place, we made a form for everyone to fill out (don't worry, there are only a few questions) that will make a spreadsheet for Julie and I so we will know how many announcements we need and where to send them.  So if you would kindly click here and fill out the form I would greatly appreciate it!  Thanks!

It's a girl!

We found out that YES we are having a Girl. Lydia is so excited. (Well so are the rest of us) Danton can finally say "Arissa" correctly. Before he always said "AH-Sarah" which made me laugh.
I have a scheduled C section for May 9, which means I have LESS then 5 weeks left YAY!!
I have done several projects, and I still have a few more I want to do before Arissa is born. Partially cause it helps me not focus on May 9/ the C section, makes the time go by quicker, AND cause I'm project happy, and after having a new baby it's always a while before I can jump back into my random projects.
So far with this pregnancy I made a truck toy box for Danton, a Kitchen set for Lydia, a quilt for Mark (that was Christmas) A can rotating shelf just recently, another shelf for my pantry, a little bench, and I am currently working on two toy guitars for the kids (so they stop messing with my banjo when I am trying to play, And cause Danton uses the blinds for his banjo...can't tell you how many he has already broken) And I'm going to make a couple frames, one for a mirror, and one for a random piece of glass I have that I"m going to put my kids hand prints on (at our little family reunion in May)
Yeah...I think that's about it. :)
But now I have project brain and I keep coming up with MORE fun projects to do for my family and home, but I have a limited budget, and not enough time.....Wo is me. :)
Danton got toy tools for his birthday, and every time I make something new he gets out his toold and "fixes" it for me. Cutest thing ever.

Christmas Around the World, Finally!!!

Here's the dance that I did at Christmas Around the World, oh like 2 1/2 - 3 months ago.  Enjoy!
