Beautifual Day

Well today was just too nice to stay indoors. I had a friend and her niece come over today and all four of us went to the park. Oh it was beautifual today! Mikey had a hay-day at the park. His favorite part I would have to say was the Slide and playing with the wood chips. These are some of the best pictures from today. I just thought you might like to see how cute he's getting. We love you all!

OK, he Smileing picture is my favorite picture of Lydia we have so far. She is just 4 weeks today and isnt really smileing yet, but amid excerising her face muscles I caught a smile. I was so excited about it. That was her church out fit for yesterday. We stayed for 2 hours instead of just one. I still don't want to take her into primary sharing time, too many kids. We were at the dr on Thursday and she was 7 lbs 9 oz. She has gained a whole lb, and is almost 8 lbs. She has such a small head but really chubby bull dog cheeks, they are very cute. And she has almost out grown her NB onsies, we are going to try the 0-3 m this week.

We are blessing her this sunday so you will get blessing pictures next week. We are very excited cause Garry and Sheri and Garry and Keith all get to come. We are gonna have a party!

Oh In the picture with Mark he was balancing her on his hand. She couldnt do it very long.

Grandma goes wireless

Thanks to Keith I now have high speed! I am still learning how to use it but already I love it. I no longer turn on the computer and come back 10 minutes later to see if I'm up yet. :) Even the dial up was faster than my little brain so now I am really going to have to strain y brain. Love to you all, have a great week, Grandma

FYI

Well, just in case anyone was wondering, dipping strawberries in marshmallow creme makes an excellent dessert! But just to fore warn you, it is rather rich, you can't eat too much before you have to stop. But it it is definitely worth it!

Two queens

Well, tonight I had two beautiful granddaughters on the "royal courts" We went to Willard where Lindy was escorting a king candidate at 6:30 then we rushed to Morisville where Rachelle was one of the homecoming queen candidates at 7:00 It had started snowing by the time we left Willard and the roads were really slick, We almost slid off of the road and probably whoud have if not for all of the tree limbs on the road from the ice storm. We got there in time for me to tie her bow and give her a good luck kiss. Even though neither was pronounced the winner we all know that they are truly queens, not just for a high school thing but for eternity. I was a pretty proud grandma tonight.

To Grandma Specifically

And to Garry Sr. Adams and Melissa Adams also. Middle Garry and I downloaded a free trial of this software called "Personal Historian". What it is, is a program that helps you step by step write your personal memoirs. What I want to know, is this: If we bought it, would Grandma and Garry and Melissa USE it to write their personal histories? It has a neat export feature that makes it so you can export it into a book. You can also do it for other people, for example, Grandma could write one for Grandma. Anyways, if you guys want to download the free trial, this is the site: http://www.rootsmagic.com/meridian/

So it has prompts and stuff. For example, one thing says, "My first Date" Then it prompts you with, "Who did you go with? Where did you go? Who asked who?" ...etc. And you write a little blurb about it. The next day, you could do the one about your baptism. They are all categorized, and ask for the dates and then the program organizes it for you. You can import church history events that happened during your life and stuff like that. If downloading the free trial is too tricky, Garry and I will do it for you and put it on your computer and show you how to do it when we go out there in the summer. We just want to know if you are willing to spend the time doing it. We're willing to pay the money for the histories of you guys, especially Grandma! You only have to do a story every once in a while, you can take your time.... but in the end, we have a wealth of knowledge about you and your life.

So let me know what you think of this idea, okay?

trying again

This was the pic. I tried to send last Sunday. I guess my dial-up was just to slow to transfer. Garry on couch (coaching) David watching Keith, Lilly, Connor and Hyrum. They finally all got some candy!

Happy Valentines Day

Hello wonderful family! I love you all and hope you have a wonderful valentines day. If I could I would send you all candy and flowers. Oh well, it's the thought that counts -right?

hey everyone

this is our little kenzie, i finally get to show her off. she is doing so good, she sleeps through the night but she has been doing that from like 3 weeks old. i am bragging now but i probably wont be so lucky with the next one. she loves to lay down on her tummy and play with all her toys, but her favorite toy is a chip bag. (mostly a chip bag with the crumbs still in it so she can keep me busy cleaning) She is the happiest baby, yesterday morning at about 6am i woke up from her giggling and playing in her crib. then about a half our later she was asleep and didn't wake up tell about 8am which is early for her she usually sleeps tell 11am.

mark is working for an insurance company and drives about an hour there and back. but he likes it. and they are a really good company. he loves looking for cars and truck on the Internet it is one of his favorite hobbies, we are always buying and sailing new cars, so if you ever want a new car for a good deal, call him he would love to find one for you.

i am just taking care of kenzie and loving it, i did become a mary kay consultant just to give me a little extra something to do and because i love makeup. so it works great for me.

Candy, Candy, Candy!!!

OK, I tried to download a picture from last night's family "thing" but I'm not sure if it happened. (or if it happened twice) If it comes through it is a picture of all the little kids watching Keith try and "fix" grandpa's candy machine. (Nickle and Ashley gave grandpa a gum ball machine for Christmas and now the kids have to pay for their candy - of course they manage to get the money from grandpa) It wasn't really our monthly family thing, it just happened that we all ended up here last night. love you all, Grams

Flying Baby

I just wanted to take the 200th post spot and thought everyone would like a picture. This was on a bike ride the 3 of us took this fall on the frisco highline trail right by our house. It was a really good day.

A few More Pictures

Mark put some more pictures on our Yahoo account. So go down to our last post and click on the link and you can view the new ones. Very few pictures have the perfect amount of light. Sorry some of them are dark. And some need to be rotated, but I'll do that later. there is one picture that makes her look like she is crying, but really it was a sneeze. She sneezes a lot. And she also gets the hiccups a lot.

As for me I'm recovering quickly. C-sections are never a preference, but I'm doing fairly well. I'm totally mobile and everything, just a little slower than normal and I still don't have a normal energy level, but I didnt expect that. My soreness is even almost gone. I can go with out meds and be totally fine, but I still have a few left and they said to take them till they are gone. I'm ready for them to be gone, I've been taking 2 pills at every meal all week. (not all are pain pills though)

Lydia is growing big and strong. But she is still very small. She eats really good and she sleeps really good. at night she will sleep for like 3 1/2 hours at a time. That is nice cause it gives me a chance to rest and that also means she is actually awake durring the day. She loves to lift her head and look around with her pretty big blue eyes. We have so much fun playing with her, even though she dosen't play back yet.

New Job

Well, I am now officially employed! Yeppie! I'm going to be selling Dish Network with two of my cousins from Mom's side. Yeah, it's door-to-door sales, but it's a really good company. They are all about helping their employees get on their own two feet before they get out of college. I went to a meeting last night and then they started training me today. I looks like its going to be a really good job, not easy, but some pretty good potential. The only thing is we are going to be selling in the San Fransisco area. So I'll only be home in Missouri until June, then Caty and I will probably move out there and be there all summer. The company has some pretty sweet bonuses as well, so it's pretty exciting. We are going out on Saturday to sell for about half the day, so that's the first time I actually get experience selling. It will be hard work but I'm still pretty excited. Just thought I would let everyone know what was going on in my life.

Another VERY Belated Birthday!

Sydnie had her sweet 16 on JANUARY 11 and then the ice storm hit and put everybody in survival mode :) Lucky for her she went to Springfield and got her license ON her birthday instead of waiting until the next day when one of the smaller towns offered the test. I tried to put some pictures on - but it takes soooooo long to upload them on my dial-up speed internet, that I finally gave up.

Hello!

Since nobody has really posted anything I thought I would just say hello and tell you what is going on in my life. I am still working for the same law firm in Logan, except tomorrow we are going to be moving into our new three story building making it the biggest law firm in Logan and its surrounding areas. That is about all the fun and excitement for me. Kody is still going to school. He is teaching the anatomy lab this semester again and is enjoying it! He had an interview from the University of Utah and he is not real sure how he did, he said they didn’t really show much emotion. We should find out by the end of March beginning of April! He received another invite for an interview at Drexel (Philadelphia) on March 16th, which is conveniently during his spring break so we are going to take the week off and head over to Philadelphia for his interview and all the historical sites and then over to New York City (sorry Jamie we aren’t going to make it over there for spring break, we are aiming for the summer)! We are pretty excited to travel all over the east coast although it has become very stressful planning, I now know why we have travel agents!!! Oh by the way, Kody would like to be added his email address is kodyrc@cc.usu.edu. Have a good day everyone!

Mikey is 10 Months!

Yay! He made it. Mikey is almost walking. He now holds onto the wall and walks around the house, but he wont let go yet.

Me, I just realized that I've only got just over 2 months left before I've got two little munchkins that I'm dealing with. WOAH! I'm at 32 weeks...full term is 37.....AAAAHHHHHH. Thats when I had Mikey! I just went in for an ultrasound yesterday (the picture is great! I'll post it when I can get to Mom's house) Xander is still a boy, and we're hoping that I don't have low fluid problems. I'm suposed to get a letter in the mail this next week to let me know yay or nay. If I do have low fluid.....well my kids won't be a year apart....

Just 11 months!!!!!!!!
