constant supervision

so yesterday Mark and I were dishing up our plates for dinner, and Lydia was playing in the living room. Danton was in his little bouncy seat awake and happy. Lydia really likes to play with his bouncy seat cause it has pooh and tigger on it, she thinks her baby doll needs to sit in it all the time. The rule is Danton gets is first, but if he isn't sitting in it she can put her baby in there, but it has to stay by the couch so if Danton needs it he can use it.
Well as Daddy walked into the living room he started saying "OH OH OH OH!" My first thought was that Lydia was trying or actually holding him, but the result was the opposite. By the time I looked around the corner daddy was over there fixing it. Danton was on the floor and his bouncy seat was upside down. I suspect that Lydia dumped him out so she could use it for her doll.
We never heard a thud of a cry from Danton, so I guess he wasn't scared or hurt, so that is good, but we can't have Lydia thinking that she can dump him out and use his chair when ever she wants.

Family Reunion

I don't know what Terri has planned for the 3rd but how do you all feel about having a "work" day? They guys can help Grandpa with tractors, and chain saws and clear out a lot of the fallen tember that is still around from the ice storm of two years ago? (We have been working on it all spring and have only cleared a small area behind the house.) Then if the weather permits, we could have a big bon-fine that night.

The girls could all help me tie the quilts I have been working on. The little girls could have a dress up day out of grandma's dress up box and we could all have a tea party.

It would be nice to have a "missionary moment" from the missionary parents and you could share something from your missionary, that would help them be a part of the reunion.

It would be nice if we could get an approximate count of those who will be coming so we can start planning on places for you to sleep. I know that as the date gets closer that some of you are finding that you are not sure if you can come or not and we understand.

I miss hearing from all of you on the blog. It is nice that many of you have your own blog but I miss you on this one. My slow computer makes it almost impossible to bring up your own with so many pictures. I love it when you include me in your bussy life!

Pictures of Danton

Ok, here are a few more pics. the ones in the little blue striped shirt are from today, 6 days old. He is usually pretty content unless he thinks he is still hungry. but once he gets a full belly he is one happy dude. My milk still hasn't come in yet so we have been topping him off with formula a couple times a day, and when he gets his tummy completely full there is nothing you can do to upset him.
He is a strong little man too. When I put him up on my shoulder to burp him he not only holds his head up, but his back is straight too. He is so curious, want's to see everything.
Enough Talk, here is little Danton Jeremy, little but chubby.

Danton looks a lot like Lydia did. See for your self Danton...

And Lydia...

When Lydia came to see Danton in the Hospital for the first time Danton gave her a present. She thought that was pretty cool, even though she didn't have much interest in Danton at the time.

My babies

I just took these using highly advanced time lapse photography. :)

I like to post a picture every once in awhile of my cute kids so everyone can comment on how darling they are. Go ahead.

I think we can safely call potty training little Garry a resounding success! *cheering masses* He does really well and we haven't even had a poo accident at all. Hurrah again! After the first two days we never even have had a potty accident. He even takes naps in his "big underwears".

I'm excited for the upcoming reunion. We're only 5 months out, can you believe it? It's practically upon us. Bring on the fun!

My cousin Julia has been badgering me to do it for quite some time now, and finally I gave in. :) It's not much, but it's there, so I just thought I'd tell ya! The blog address is http://nancthepants.blogspot.com/

Danton's Itinerary

Well tomorrow is the big day. Danton will be here! Horay. I'm glad I know that I don't have to try and sleep more than one more night. I was hoping I could be well rested this week, but not so. I'm sleeping like a pregnant woman, which is not all that restful.
Tonight Lydia is going to go stay with Granny and Papa, and then Mark and I have to wake up at 5ish to be at the hospital at 6.
Danton's "flight" doesn't arrive till 7:30, but you know how it goes, gotta be their PLENTY early so the Dr's don't wait on you, but you wait on them. I think 45 mins is ample time, but I guess I was wrong.
So Danton will be arriving around 7:30, and then they will wisk him away for APGAR's and bath and I guess Daddy can be there for all that, and I will stay and they will stitch me all back up and then I'll have to go to recovery.
I had my pre admissions appointment yesterday and they said that if I want they can give me a good old sleepy drug while they are stitching me up and everything so nothing bothers me. I'm not sure if I want to do that or not. It makes me delusional and unable to focus, and for recovery that might be nice, but I don't know how long it will last. I don't want to be like that ALL DAY.
We will send out the phone calls tomorrow to let everyone know how things went, even though you all know when he will be here.
I'm mostly ready to go, I still have to finish packing our bags, and make sure I do the dishes after dinner tonight. But my house is all clean, like seriously it's the cleanest it's ever been. I worked on it every day this week so I didn't' overwhelm my self today.
Mark will probably post pictures tomorrow, if not, then at least by Friday I'm sure. Kinda depends on how the day goes and how tired he is when he gets home.
We will be at Cox South and we will have our cell phones with us if you want to call and not have to call the hospital.
