Where is my Great Grandpa Adams?

Well today I was showing Mikey some pictures on the blog, I showed him the picture of Grandma at Julie's reception, told him it was Great Grandma Adams, and he said, "Where is my Great Grandpa Adams?" We had to back track pretty far on the blog to find a picture of him. So Lets see it guys. It's time for Grandpa Stories and pictures. I'm going to find some pictures on my computer too. But I think it would be fun for us to write our favorite stories about grandpa.

Easter

Wes throwing his eggs in the dye.  I'm pretty sure most of his cracked.
The finished product!
He got more than a little bit on his hands and they stayed that color for a day or so.
After the second session of conference on Saturday my parents had an Easter egg hunt with some of the kids from their ward and Wes of course.  Here he is with all his eggs.  He thought it was pretty great!
Easter morning.
The Easter bunny brought him this chair so he could sit outside with mom in the afternoon while we wait for Jack and Macee (our neighbors) to get off the bus.  It will also come in pretty handy at Todd's softball games which start this Friday!
(In the background you can see the project we worked on Saturday night during Priesthood session, thanks mom!)
At the Easter egg hunt at Grandma Harts.
Wes, Ryan, and Mathew playing in the dirt after the excitement of the egg hunt had worn off.

Folk Dance

Well, I haven't exactly been very good at updating you all on what's going on with me. Well, this has been fun semester, mostly :-D. As far as folk dance goes, I have been having SO much fun! I've got some really good friends that I've made on my team and it's really just been a blast. We did a really fun dance for our end of the semester performance Spring Festival of Nations. It was a Hutzel dance from the mountainous region of Ukraine. One of my friends posted a video of it on facebook, but I know not everyone has facebook, so someone else posted a different video on youtube. I hope you all enjoy!

Dyeing Easter Eggs

I've been sadly neglectful of putting pics of my kids on this blog! So here's tonight's blog, even though it's the same post as the one on my personal blog. :)

Tonight we dyed easter eggs, and it was lots of fun! The kids loved every step of the process. They helped me put the raw eggs into the water, watched them boil, then took them out and dried them. As soon as Daddy got home from the Priesthood session of conference they were ready to pour the vinegar and drop in the magic tablets. Then they added water, colored the eggs with crayons, and carefully placed them in the dye.

I can easily say that they loved every step of the process. Only one egg of the dozen perished. Right now they are putting stickers on the dried eggs. This was so fun! They were so good and careful the whole time.

Garry said something funny. He asked if it was time to kill the eggs. Made me laugh. Rachel is very convinced that there are little chicks inside of them.
