We need informtion

Someone from the Keith Adams family needs to post Jewellyn's news. I would but I'm sure I would get it all mixed up. Marie, I guess it's up to you, you are the only one from your family that ever posts.

Thanksgiving Gingerbread Houses

We had a blast putting gingerbread houses together today. They were all very unique. It was fun to watch them being built, and the creative things they came up with for their own houses.

Wes Lately

Ok...so I haven't posted on this blog since we've been here and since we are almost ready to leave I guess I should at least show you some pics. I posted more on our own blog, but here are a few!

Lindy is 20

Lindy's birthday was yesterday. She is no longer a teenager. I can't believe it. She spent the evening with us and went to Jayse's basketball meet the squad night. We had a fun evening.

Basektball Season

Basketball is upon us. We had the "Meet the Squad" night last night.

Look out TX here we come!

Well Mike has decided to accept the job offer in Greenville TX. He'll be working for L3 communications fixing/updating jets. I don't know much, but he'll be working for the government I think. So me not knowing much is probably going to be the standard. :D I had no idea how dangerous this job was...it makes since though....those engines are pretty powerful. If all goes to plan, we'll be moved by beginning to mid January.

Deer Season

It is Deer Season in Missouri. Taylor was over here hunting with Weston this morning and he got his first Buck (I'm thinking his first deer at all, but not sure). I said I'd post a couple of pictures.

80's Skating

Well, for FHE we were planning on going ice skating. We were originally going to have a big group of everyone going, but people started bailing out left and right. So we started calling our Chinese friends. We ended up just having 5 people including one of Brooke's friends. After we finally got down to the road that the rink is on and searched for half an hour without being able to find it, we called them up. Apparently their machine ( I can only assume that they mean their Zamboni) was broken. Greg was feeling kind of sick, so he just went back home, leaving just us 4 that you see in the picture. (from left to right: Matt, me, Brooke, Vanessa) Brook's friend said that she knew where a skating place was. Funny thing. In Chinese, ice skating and just normal skating are the same word... Ok, I just lied. I just looked it up and apparently they are different, but just barely. And what I thought was ice skating apparently means just roller skating. So she took us to a skating rink. It was really small, if you can't tell from the pictures. But it was really funny. Everyone, with few exceptions, were on roller skates, instead of roller blades. The awesome selection of music was also very 80's esk. What made it even better was the decorations on the walls and the lighting. It was great fun. So, just in case anyone was wondering, the 80's are still alive and well in China.

Hair Fun & some other pics

We played with Garry's hair today. I can't decide if it looks cute or silly. Okay okay, it always looks cute to me. I just don't know if it looks silly. Let me know what you think. If you say it looks silly, I promise my feelings won't be hurt, and I won't tell Little Garry (so his feelings are safe too).

And while I'm posting pictures, here are a few recent ones of my bundles of darlingness.

I think this purple chair one is sweet. They love each other.

"Heroes and victims in Prop. 8 struggle"

Orson Scott Card wrote a great article on the backlash seen from the passage of Proposition 8. I enjoyed reading it, if you want to, here is the link:

Her and Dad are the greatest buds. We definitely would love to have family come stay with us here. hint hint. We miss the closeness of home but paradise is pretty cool.

Life summed up in 2 questions.

I got this in an E-mail from my sister-in-law, and I thought you might want to share the laugh.

Life boils down to 2 questions:

Should I get a dog?

Or
Should I have children?

I love my family

Hey, I just want to say how grateful I am to belong to this great family. I am so blessed to have parents that have tried so hard to teach their children to love the gospel and each other. My brothers and sisters are awesome! I love each of them so much and I am glad Sheri set up this blog for us to keep in touch. We all have our own little families now (which are not so little anymore) and it has been a blessing to be able to keep in touch through the pictures and comments on this blog. Thank you Sheri. Let's all remember the purpose of this blog is to share events and family fun.
I love you ALL!

Happy late birthday

and a happy late birthday to Garry the younger. I always think it's the 5th instead of the 3rd but even if it was the 5th it is still late. But I still love you and I hope it was a happy wonderful day

4 Months!

Well Gavin has been 4 months for a little while now so I figured I'd better get some pictures up so everyone could see him. He's such a sweet baby, his cries don't get very loud, and when they do, he decides to suck his thumb. He's just a really good easy baby. And BOY does that kid smile all the time! He's a great addition to our little family.

here are a couple more mess maker pictures. I decided not to clean up my family room before I took this picture because they had pretty much made the mess and it went perfect. the one with the bowls, they were walking around with these bowls on their heads saying, "We are robots, we are robots, we are robots. "

Rone's Halloween

So I thought I would use my pregnant belly to my advantage this year.
One of my favorite things about Halloween is making the costume and challenging my self...usually with no pattern. this year it was my beard and shoes. I found a picture of the lawn gnome I wanted to look like, and I based my costume off of that.

I made these shoes with nothing but a cartoon picture. :) I thought that was pretty cool. The funny thing about my costume was every kid knew I was a lawn or garden gnome, but almost every adult had to ask if i was a gnome or a dwarf or a christmas elf. Pshaw Adults have no imagination.

Lydia had so much fun Trick or Treating yesterday. We got dressed up a little early to take pictures then we went out with Kelli and her kids. we went to some of the surrounding streets. By the time we were done Lydia had it down, she'd say "Trick or treat" they would give her candy, then she would say "thank you" and get back in the stroller and on the way to the next house she would pick something out and stick it in her mouth...still wrapped. I started dumping her bucket in the bottom of the stroller after each house cause she a few pices of candy that were a little messy, she was eating a carmel along with teh plastic wrapper. We had a few other mutaliated candies in the bucket as well.
One house had a 6 foot tall light up mummy that would do the spooky moan. It turned on just as Lydia walked up to the door to say trick or treat. It scared her so she didn't say it and she turned around to come back to me just as the lady was trying to put candy in her bucket. I guided her backt o accept the candy (it was good chocolate) and it moaned again and scared her so I picked her up to comfort her...bad idea. That only brought her face to face with this scary monster. She shreeked in terror, and I laughed, and walked away quickly as to not scare her any more.

Happy Halloween!

HALLOWEEN IN REXBURG.

John and I decided to be from Grease/Greece. I chose the movie, he chose the place. haha...it was kind of funny.
The little girl is John's little neice. She also dressed up like grease. The back of her jacket says, "pink ladies" on it...she is so cute. The other guy, is just one of my friends named Vince. He's funny. yeah, halloween was a blast, and yes, we looked really good. Haha.
