So I don't think it's warm enough to go swimming, but apparently I am wrong. Lydia loves swimming. She went yesterday almost fully clothed. I had teh boys catch her before she got completly in and they took her jeans off.
The other pictures are the week before we moved. We were at a friends suprise party at the park with a bunch of friends in our ward. It was so fun.

Tom's First Baptism

So this week has been great we've had a lot of teaching and we had a baptism. I got to baptize mellissa batson and i messed it up haha. So our ward mission leader filled the font for us and he didn't fill it up all the way because he didn't get there soon enough so the 1st attempt there were some air bubbles in her baptismal clothing that didn't get under. I felt bad i wanted to get it right so bad the first time that i was like drowning her haha but the 2nd time i got it. It was pretty sweet. So thats about it for this week i had to spend 65 bones to fix my bike i needed to get a new peddle and get a tune up. So tell bro moffat he owes me jk i sent you some ;pics of the baptism love you guys.

Small World

Well, I was on the computer yesterday and I get this message on Facebook from one of the girls that is going to China with me this fall. Apparently, she is a teacher in the MTC. For simplicity's sake, and my own laziness sake, I'm just going to copy and paste what she said...

Your little bro is in my zone in the MTC!!
It's a small world!!! I have taught your little brother for that last two days (as a substitute because his teacher is out of town getting married) and he is super cool!!! His companion just got moved up to the intermediate level of Spanish so he will probably get put in a trio. He is doing well and says hi!

I just thought it was really cool and figured you all might also enjoy Marshall...er...Elder Adams' first unofficial update from the MTC.

Summer time!

I just wanted to share the beautiful season with all of you. My yard is so pretty this year, wish you could all drop by for a visit. Love to all, Grandma

How to write Marshall a letter without buying a stamp

This is a quick way you can all drop Marshall a note for free every day:

Step 1: Go to www.dearelder.com

Step 2: Click on the 'Write a Letter' tab.
Step 3: Drag the little arrow down to 'Provo MTC' then click the 'write a missionary' button.
Step 4: Fill in your name an address, his name and mailbox number, write your letter, and click the send your letter button.

All done! The site prints off your letter and puts it in his mailbox. Write often.

(His address is on the right sidebar and I plan on keeping it updated. Can anyone give me Tom's current address so I can put that up there too?)

Elder Adams

It's official, Marshall is in the MTC! Elder Marshall Adams. Awwwww. Sweet widdle Marshall is on a MISSION! (Or, as Baby G~ says, "mee-shun".) Little G~ started asking for Marshall a few days ago. It took a few times for us to realize that "marshmallows" and "Marshall" are the exact same word for him. Mostly he wanted marshmallows.

Anyways, we got to take Marshall into the MTC today. It was very cold and rainy. Brrr.

Marshall was way excited to get going, and he'd already said goodbye to mom and dad, so he didn't cry. I tried to take lots of pictures, but bossy big Garry and bossy Marshall were in some sort of HURRY. They kept trying to push me along. There was no need to rush. Sheesh. ;)

We will miss our Marshall, but now that I'm old (and I am officially old) the time goes a lot faster than it used to, so I know it will seem like two blinks and he will be home. I'm so glad that we had the opportunity to take him into the MTC!

just some fun pictures of our kids the one of the hugging is not posed they did that all on their own it was so cute.
Oh and I just finished reading the Twilight books. I was wondering if anyone else had read them and what they thought of them. I personally really liked them, but I can understand why you wouldnt. Just wondering cause I got on deseret book to look at the reviews and they were way mixed a lot of people thought they were not "uplifting" Just wanted someone to have a book discussion with if you have read it.

CAT-tastrophy

Well last night we had a LONG drive home. And as a favor to Aunt Janet, we took Fonzie the cat with us. It was really cute at first cause Mikey was still awake when we picked him up on the way home. Fonzie was in a little box cat carrier from petco. We had the box behind my seat & right in front of Mikey. He heard the box meowing and gave me this confused look, "A box?!?!" like...why on earth is that box talking. Then the cat stuck a paw out of one of the air holes. I showed the paw to mikey and told him it was a kitty. That boy was SSSOOO excited. But he knew it was bedtime and every time the cat would meow he'd tell it, "shush kitty!" It wasn't mean it was more of a. Ok kitty it's bedtime now. It was really cute. The cat finally settled down, and mikey drifted off to sleep. And all was well....or so we thought.

Poor little Xander must have had a bad dream or something and he woke up Screaming. And the cat....well lets just say he was ready to get out of that stinkin box. So thats what he did. We were about an hour into the trip and I had to get in the back to hold the box shut. Fonzie was shoved back in that box 3 times before we decided this was not working. So at the next gas station we bought a thing of packing tape and taped the box closed enough to where he couldn't get out. Haha he tried once I had the tape on...but to no avail. I had won!....or so I thought.

Later in the trip the cat got tired of being in the box again...when it decided it couldn't open the box...it looked for more drastic measures to escape. It started clawing at the air holes to open them even more. I was in the front seat at the time thinking I had finally won...then I hear no.1 crying. I look in the back and it was like watching an alien give birth. I had two kitty paws sticking out of the top of the box clawing in different directions...and poor little mikey got pawed on the foot. He did have footy pjs on so It didn't scratch him...he just got poked a little. Well I climbed into the back seat for the third time to move Mikey's feet away from the box. But Fonzie was still set on escaping...he had broken two of the airholes and made them into one bigger one. He started sticking his nose out the air holes. So before we had a cat crawling all over our car, we stoped the car and hucked him in the trunk. (we still had an hour drive left)

But you know, I think he was happier in the trunk. He had more room at least. We did hear him complaining a few times...but we were done dealing with him. We finally get home and Mike puts the boys in bed and I take the cat to target down the road to drop him off. I didn't know what to expect when kim and I opened the trunk, so I cracked it and she stuck her hands in there. She saw he was fine so I opened the trunk all the way. And he was sitting there just fine...looking at us like, " Told you I'd get out of that box" I guess he thought he'd won...HA! nothing could compare to getting that cat out of the car. In the end...I did win.

Miss R~

Guess what? The only Missouri family who have met Miss R~ is Grandma & Grandpa (Garry) Adams and Keithers. Craziness! Most of my sisters haven't even met her. I see you all need to start traveling. :) I wish we could come out this summer. We would have so much fun!

A friend from my ward came over and made these cute cute headbands with me today. Mostly she made them and I watched and admired. It was fun. She made a bunch of little flowers and put snaps on them so the flowers and the headbands are all interchangeable.

The Move

Well all, this has been a stressful week, and it's over. Thank Heaven. I had every intention of taking pictures to better share with you our adventure, but the overpowering thought of "get this over with" took over all my thoughts, so no pictures.
Monday- wake up in the morning, stressing that all our crap wouldn't fit in our 17 foot truck. We were looking at our stuff trying to see what we could leave behind. we went and got the truck at 9, but when the guy pulled it out it hit 17 feet and kept coming and coming and coming. It was the 24 foot truck. They didnt have any 17 footers so since we had already reserved it we got the 24 foot truck for the same price as the 17. All my stress just flew out the window. It was awesome. WE had some guys from the ward come help load the truck, and it was all loaded in less than 40 mins. AWESOME!!!
Mark had his last final from 3-5 and when he was done we went bowling. I won :) 132. Then we went for ice cream at Farrs and saw a few people from our ward, that was fun too.
Tuesday- The truck was mostly loaded, we had a few extra things like our comfy sleeping bags we slept on. (that was not a good sleep) then some more friends in my ward came to help me finish cleaning. We were done in record time. HORAY! Then Lydia needed a nap. no crib. So we called my sister in law Kendra, cause that is where we were staying that night, but there was no answer, but we didnt really want to go out there yet cause we weren't done in town. So we called my cousin Heather, she lives...er lived close. So we took Lydia over for a nap did our running and came and bumed lunch off of her. Thanks Heather. Then we hung out till our last ward party. Pizza at the Park. We took our instruments and played a little for everyone. It was so fun, but so sad to say good bye to all my friends. We both had a LOT of freinds to say good bye to. We miss you guys already!
Then we went straight to Dave and Kendras. Lydia was so tired, and so were we. We got our stuff in and then I realized I couldnt go to bed, I hadnt bought groceries yet. DANG. So I drug Keith with me, we didnt get back till 11. SOOOO TIRED. We went to bed as fast as we could, since we were getting up at 4:30. But NONE of us could sleep. We were up for at least an hour soem of us 2 trying to fall asleep but we couldnt. BARG! Lydia was sleeping but she kept waking up.
Wednesday-FINALY! Get that stupid night over with and just go. There isnt much to tell about wednesday, other than we drove from 5 am to 11 pm. But we made it to our hotel in Lincoln. Lydia did SO good. She slept at least 1/2 the time and was drowsy for the other 1/2. I SWEAR I didnt even drug her.
But then we had the issue of the truck. We noticed how much the gas tank held. And figured out the milage...what's that smell? It's getting stronger...kinda smells like stress...with a hint of debt. Yep that's it. Don't ask me how much we spent total. I didnt add it up...I don't want to. And we slept GREAT that night.
Thursday-We werent quite as punctual about leaving as we planned, but we were only 10 mins late. It was just nice to rest. We were on the road a little after 8 CST. Only 6 hours to go. AND, and and and. We never did print off a map. AND we even made it through Kansas City with out any directions. We missed the belt and had to go through town but we never got lost, didnt have to turn around. We did it. We filled up just south And Lydia did NOT want to be in the car. she went in with out a fuss, but she was so annoyed that we were still driving. talking loudly and waving her hands like she was saying I really REALLY don't want to be in here!
We made it to mom's house right at 3. I TOLD YOU SO. EVERYONE doubted that I could adn woudl actually do it. BUT WE DID IT. But we did. And what a blessing. We got the stuff to stay at my parents house unloaded and our room set up. And Lydia got to run around out side naked in the mud. she got so dirty and it was so FUN!
Friday- We had a slow start in the morning but we went into the Rones and unloaded the Uhaul, and got rid of that stupid thing. Then we had lunch and went to Bass Pro. The fish scared Lydia, she didnt like them. Lydia needed a nap so we came back. Then we went to Nancyanns play. That was fun. and when we came home we had Lilly's birthday party. She had a dirt and worms cake so I thought that was a good time to sing the song I wrote. About teh Back Yard Bog. Mom and Dad were busting up. IT was very fun.
So the move is over and we are getting settled, and no more road trips for me for a while.
I'll take some pictures soon to show all my Idaho friends what MO looks like. it's GREEN!!!

Dinosaur Shelf

Well I'm changing the boys theme in their room from Jungle to Dinosaur. This was my first project. A bookshelf. It's just a cardboard box covered with a few old T-shirts...but boy did it turn out cute! You can read more about it on my other blog.

The great escape?

Well, as you can see, the great escape foiled! Jayse let him sit up there for a while and whine before he resuced him from the log, however just after Jayse rescued him, he climbed the fence AGAIN and got stuck on the log AGAIN....stupid dogs!!!!

A look at MY little boy!

Grandpa and David "working hard" on the farm. They are two of a kind and both of them are always getting into some kind of trouble.

I don't have any todlers or cute little babies to show of or tell funny stories about but I do have a little old Grandpa who is always up to something. (and believe me, little old grandpa's can get in LOTS more dangerous trouble than little boys!) He has been cleaning up the old cars and scrap around here and taking it in to the scrap yard to sell for fun money. (well, I guess all money is fun!) Anyway, he had the old bulldozer loaden on the trailer and was pulling it with Keith's truck. I thought it was much too heavy but you know the story, I'm just a silly old grandma and I don't know about things like that! As we were pulling it out of the yard and down the driveway the loaded trailer started pushing the truck. I was sure we were going to end up at the bottom of the hill with the dozer on top of us. Grandpa just started going faster so the truck was pulling instead of being pushed but that scared me as much as being pushed. Long story short, he didn't try to take it in with Keith's truck. Weston came over and pulled it in for him. He is going to be helping Weston build a pond the next few weeks, that should keep him out of trouble for a while. (or NOT!)

Marshall's itinerary

Well, Marshall is ready to leave. He's really ready to leave. He has his itinerary, and that means he is ready to go :) I talked to Herb today and asked if the "Goldhardt Taxi service" would be available to pick him up and of course he said "SURE"!!! Herb and Terri are sooooo good to help any time someone needs to be picked up at the airport. Thanks so much you guys. Marshall's flight from Dallas to Salt Lake is American Airlines flight #1301, arriving SLC at 12:35pm, Tuesday, May 20th.

He's so ready to get on the plane. The only thing holding him up is getting set apart which doesn't happen till stake conference on May 18th (Rissy's birthday). Did I mention that Marshall is SOOOO READY to go?, well, he is ;P

update pics

Matt was playing in his swing one night and when i looked over to check on him he had passed out just like that i think maybe he had a long day:)
This day Me,my mom and matt all went to grandma's to surprise her, when we got there she was no where to be found we found out that grandpa had decided to use his car as a tractor on the other side of the muddy lake(after all the flooding) to plant trees... well he got it stuck no surprise and it took 2 hours to get it out and guess who got to help?
Matt likes to be with people doesn't matter how or where so he mowed the yard with dad so i could clean the house finally
Well here is an update of our little family. Josh and I have been in South Carolina well not for awhile now but that is where we were. We have been back and finally get to start working on our house, so every saturday is a new project last saturday was mowing and cleaning up the branches in the yard and this saturday is working on our water so that our fridge will make ice and good water, we havent' even started to decorate yet but it may be awhile for that too because we are going to be adding on towards the end of the summer and beginning of the fall. We have been going going going since our little matt was born(literally) and finally have a moment to breath(sorta) we should be home all summer but will hopefully be going on the road again in the fall for more work but you never know in this line of work. Matt is getting huge and is starting to giggle/squeal and talks all the time we think maybe he gets that from josh;) and is starting to play with all his toys. He is a little spoiled being the only grandchild on both sides and the only child. Josh said we may not beable to have more kids because matt wont beable to handle the attention loss he would have. lol:) as for josh and i, josh is playing softball on thursdays and loves it right now he is working in seymore on a house and the have a couple of other small jobs here and there that they are all spread out on. I am going to start taking cake decorating classes with terriann and amy and that will give me something to learn:) i was going out to visit my mom almost everyday but now with gas prices sky rocketing i have to limit myself to once a week to my moms or get rid of the suv and i love my car so i think i'll limit myself for now:( soon we will be going to the lake hopefully and get nice tans and start skiing all the time which will be a fun thing for all of us well matt doesn't really care but he'll probably like the water, and we have takin up tennis so we play tennis quite often with josh's parents during the week, which is tons of fun plus great excercise:)

wes' hair cut

so I didn't have one of the actual end result here but terriann can take one of that. It did however take 4 different tries to get to the end result with a squirmy little boy but anyone who has tried to cut a little boys hair knows that. He is i believe almost 5 months and already had his first hair cut such a cutie pie! good job terriann and todd:)

Crafts and Such

Well, I guess I should update you all on what is going on in the Todd and Terriann Hart home. We are still adjusting to our new home and loving it. So far we have painted the kitchen, living room, dinning room, and our master bedroom. We love our community and being close to family! We both have just 1 more week of classes and then finals. I will graduate this semester with an Associate of Arts degree! Todd has decided to take a couple of classes this summer and then he will be only 2 semesters away from graduating with his Bachelors (he's an accounting major). Wes just got his first hair cut and just learned how to grab his feet and make lots of noises with his lips. We love you like crazy!
This is one of my most recent projects...or actually my mom ended up doing most the work :) We took 3 peices of scrap metal and drilled holes in them and strung ribbon through them. My mom applied the vinyl and I dug through grandma's button jar to make some magnets. It looks super cute in my kitchen and I can change the pictures without any hassle. My mom just started a new blog www.vinylexpress.blogspot.com you should all check it out!

Catties, Grandpa Truck, and Feet

Little G~ is all done learning his letters and we're moving on to numbers. In his number's show "Meet the Numbers" the number nine is a cat who chases mice. So, right now, whenever he sees the number 9, he calls it a CATTIE! For some reason, he doesn't say kitten or cat, they are all "CATTIE!". Well, kittens, cats, and the number nine are all catties, actually.

He also got to go for a ride with my dad in his semi last week. He loved it, and spent a lot of time telling us about how he was up "In the Air, TRUCK!" And once again, as he has been with countless grandchildren before, my dad has been christened, "Grandpa truck".
Miss R~ found her feet this week. She found them and they look delicious. For a good part of each day she concentrates on trying to get her feet into her mouth. --No small task seeing she can't yet even sit up on her own. She's also had a tummy ache lately, which is sad.

WHITE RABBIT

haha YAY I finally got everyone!
