Garry Adams Family

Well, last week we went to our Grandpa Willis' funeral. It was really good to see all the family, and All of us kids, but marshall, were there. Since no one else has posted a better picture I'll do mine. This is the best one I have on my camera. And by best I mean the one with the least amount of people making funny faces. (sorry mom).

Mom's cousin Tim took the pictures for us. He's such a hoot. It would have been nice to get to know him a little more, but it was fun to listen to him talk. I think most of us kids at least got the jist of his personality...and he fit right in. Then on Saturday, before my family went home to TX, we got the chance to see Paula baptised by my little brother Joseph. What a cool experiance. What a fun week.

Memories

For those of you who may not be aware of it, Melissa lost her father last week. The sweet tributes that her children have posted on their own blogs are a reminder to all of us of the importance of families and building happy eternal relationships while we are in mortality. Time passes so quickly, take joy in the journey. My love and prayers go to Garry and Melissa and their family. We love you.

Happy Birthday to Marisa

Happy birthday sweet granddaughter, I sent you an ecard but I think I sent it to your old yahoo address. If you still have it you might check it out. If you don't get it have a happy birthday anyway. Love you much, Grandma

some of my favorite pics.

Lydia has been sick for several days. Not acting sick, really, but fun diapers and throwing up a couple times. Yesterday after her nap she started going down hill. She is usually cheerful after a nap, but she jsut wanted to sit with me, and she had a fever that was rising with time. And she was glazed over. Poor baby. When Daddy got home we took her temp again and it was still rising so we gave her some medicine, and called uncle Paul who works here in Nixa and was just getting off work to come assist with a blessing. in about 10 minuets we started seeing improvements. And by bed time she was fine. So far no more fun diapers either.
ha ha ha she is so funny. She just dropped her cracker in the couch so I pulled off the cushion to help her find it. Well I also found a quarter and 2 pennys (which is surprising cause we don't ever have change) and as I picked them up she said
"It's yucky Mom. Don't eat it" ha ha ha. She has tried to eat cereal from under the couch before, can you guess what I said to her?
It's so entertaining to watch her play. A couple days ago she was wrestling an alligator (the porta crib put away in it's case fell over on the floor)She also found a pretty red ribbon the other day that has been floating around the house ever since and it is a scary snake. Oh and she never says thank you, just thank. Thank Mom!

Anyway here are a few of my favorite pictures.

Making Daddy Proud

She picked up the gun and said "A Deer...POW!" and moved the gun like she just shot it. It was VERY funny, not prompted at all.

Student of the Month

We just came from Willard East elementary's "Tiger Pride" assembly. Lilly was named Student of the month in her Kindergarten class. When she got up this morning she said she didn't want to go to school today. Mom told her there was going to be a surprise at school today so she decided to get ready and go without any quarrel. She didn't know what the surprise was, but if there was going to be a surprise that was good enough for her. She happily got ready and headed off to school. Her surprise was at the assembly this afternoon, mom and dad were there to see her receive the "Student of the Month" award. All her teachers tell us that she is such a sweet girl and such a good student. We have to agree, she is a pretty sweet girl. We're very proud of her.
