this is so funny

I got this video sent to me, it made me laugh so I thought I would share it with you. These are not actors this lady was just video taping her son and turned just in time to tape this. Thats what you get for being a jerk to your elders.

I just finished it

This is a case I made for some kid in CA. And if you can't tell what I made it out of, it's duck tape. I made a banjo case for me a couple years ago that was green and black, so I took pictures ofit and posted it on a banjo forum website I am a member of. I also make woven twine straps. Anyway I am really excited about this case. I wish I coudl send him my old one instead. :) I was delayed in gettign it made so I added teh name adn flames for free, so I hope he likes it. I sold it for $65, but I have to go up my price. My cost has gone up since I made mine. I'm going to put it at $85-100, I'm not sure yet, and with the detail like the flames and name extra. Probably another 15-20. IT's hard to do and make it look good. But the only other person that got to see it was Mark, and I am so proud of it I wanted to show it off. The pictures dont do it justice, but they still look pretty cool. (I can make guitar cases too. :) )

Top 20 in the Nation Tournament

Well, though I know not many of you are interested in water polo and the University of Utah, but that's ok. I'm going to keep you posted anyway :)

This last weekend we were University of California at Davis for a tournament for the top 20 in the Nation.

We played Texas and lost a heart breaker 6-5
We beat Oregon St. 15-5
We lost to UC Davis 11-9
We best Cal-Maritime 10-9
and We beat San Jose State 13-6

Which should help us end up ranking in at 8th in the Nation at the moment. UC Davis is the number one team right now, and we were up by 4 at the half. Unfortunately, my return missionaries are a little out of shape, so their endurance wasn't up to 4th quarter. good thing it's preseason!!!

We love the Rone Family!!!!

Well Mike had a fun suprise today. Mark got a new bow so he gave his old one to mike. Luckily today was a test day at school for mike, so he got home early. I had gotten the package eirler in the day & I couldn't wait for him to get him. I put the box on the couch, and when he walked in the door he said, "I'm home!" eyes went straight to the couch, "Ohh!!" It was pretty funny. He opened it up and went straight to putting it together. Usually he only has about 15min inbetween school and going to work, but once again lucky for him it was a test day so he has a full hour to enjoy his new toy! THANKS MARK & SARAH!

Baby shower time!!

So today Amy and I through Terriann a Baby Shower it was tons of fun! We had a great turn out, most of the women from the job came out unless they couldn't and we had several from our ward drive out here for it! She got some really cute clothes, toys and books, there was great food and company. Here are some pictures.

YSA Columbia Conference

Marshall and I have a lot of the same friends. A lot of them really like to post pictures on Facebook. And I figured since Marshall doesn't say much, I'd post some of the pictures that they took of him. Perhaps it will inspire him to speak up and let us know what's going on in his world... :)

BYU football

Jayse, Mike and a few of the priests from our ward went down to the BYU/Tulsa game. They had a good time. It would have been better if BYU had won though!

Silly Sleeper

This is how we found Lydia at 8:00 this morning. Must have been a hard night.

Gonna Be A Bear

In this life I'm a woman. If I had to do it over, I think I would be a bear. When you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months. I could deal with that.
Before you hibernbate, you're supposed to eat yourself stupid. I could deal wtih that too.
When you're a girl bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you're sleeping and wake to partially grown cute, cuddly cubs. I could definitely deal with that.
If you're mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If you're cubs get out of line you swat them too. I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.
Yup, gonna be a bear!

Jamie's belly

Here is Jamie's picture

Guess what!?

I went to the doctors on Friday to find out what I was going to have, Josh took off work to find out that the sonogram dr wasnt even there and the dr would have to do it herself and it would be at least 2 hours so josh went back to work only to rush back right after for the sonogram only to find out the dr had to go to the hospital and wouldnt beable to do my sonogram! now for those of you who dont know josh hates leaving work and i am not patient so this has been torture for me not knowing what i'm having! oh and 2 hours is really fast here:) usually it's 4. so we made a new appointment for monday to see if the baby is growing at the right speed. We found out that we are having a very squirmy little boy! the doctor had a hard time taking the pictures and measurements because he wouldn't quit moving around which is a good thing but he is sitting breech right now nothing to worry about cause he'll probably flip on his own she said. He was sitting with his legs crossed just chillin in my tummy and it was really exciting for josh to finally see him. We are thinking of either Aaron Matthew LeRoy Hart or Matthew LeRoy Hart. It changes from day to day which one we like better, i really think it's silly to give 4 names but we have to give it LeRoy (it's been past down) and with aaron we like matthew as a middle. we all know how i like to make decisions too so we may not know till he makes his arrival. I will have my mom post pictures of my belly since i cant ( i spilt water on my keyboard and the only time i have a computer is if josh brings one home from work for me:)

Job switch

Well for those that don't feel the need to call and talk with sarah and I, I have a new job! I will be working for farmer's insurance working in the mail room first part of the day and then data entry at the end of the day. The pay is good and I get 40 hours a week like I should! yeah!! wish me luck!

Life

Baby Garry is 19 months old and a young adult. He helps me all of the time. I went to get a rag out of the drawer to do dishes, and the next second I look down and there are 30 rags in the sink, and they are still coming. Then I hear him pushing his push toy around the living room making vacuum noises. He's the best helper ever. Sometimes, when I disobey him, he tells me no. He also wakes me up bright and early, and tries to use my tooth brush. Sometimes, if I am very good, he will let me change his poopy diapers. But usually he runs away. He gives lots of kisses and hugs, and we love him a millions.

Oh. Ha ha ha. I was writing this while Big Garry went to put Baby Garry down to bed. Ten minutes later Baby Garry came trotting into the living room with an armful of toys and there was no sign of daddy. Still is no sign of daddy, in fact. I wonder what could have happened...

Bed Hair

I know her hair looks messed up in the pictures, but the pictures dont do it justice. He hair was so crazy after her nap today that I couldnt even brush it all down, it kind of stuck up for the rest of the day. It was a good nap though, she woke up all smiles! Her hair gets really crazy when she takes a nap, espically now that it's getting a little longer. I like the first picture better, but I like the light on the second one. Lydia is just oodles of fun. :)

Reminder

Just a "Friendly" Reminder, It is now September 9th. Those of us that are planning to make a monthly payment to the Family Reunion Fund need to send me a check.
Love you!

I must be CRAZY!!!

Well, today I had the time of my life. I got a very belated Father's Day gift from my wife. I woke up this morning at about 7:00 to go down to St. George and jump out of an airplane at 14,000 feet! I put the homemeade video on the blog so those of you who want to, can see it in all of it's glory. It's sure a strange sensation to step outside of an airplane while it's flying. Nothing can quite prepare you for it. What a rush! I dove with my Father-in-law, and we both had a blast. It's 3:00 A.M. and I'm still up. (mostly that's because I came home and crashed for 3 hours. That much of an adrenaline high kinda wears you out). I guess I'll get this posted and I can give details some other time when it's not way past my bedtime. Enjoy the video!

Lindy's hair cut

Lindy finally took the plunge and allowed Shanell to cut her hair before she took off for Idaho. I think it looks really cute. She really liked it that day, but she is having second thoughts today. She says she misses her hair.

School

Well, I'm not through the first week of school yet, but I'm half way there. It's going good. I'm taking about 14 credits this semester, and I'm a Teacher's Assistant for Physical Science 100, which gives me a pretty full schedule. But I think I'm really going to enjoy most of my classes. I did have 2 Chinese classes, but then when I went to one today, I realized that I haven't taken one of the classes that are required before you take that one. That was frustrating to say the least. So I had to drop that class and find another one that was not full, something I needed, and at least 3 credit hours. So I got myself into an Economics class. I went to the lecture, and it actually sounded kind of interesting, even if it is one of the hardest GE classes that BYU offers. Then I have an Advanced Chinese Conversation class. The craziest thing was one of the students is a Grandma! She has been studying Chinese for about 5-6 years, and it really wasn't that bad! Now that takes guts! But that will be a pretty easy class. I also have a Ballroom Dancing class, and a Martial Arts class which focuses mostly on Ju Jitsu and Judo, which may be my turn out being my favorite class. Another odd class is my Civilization class. It's actually Music 201, so it's music, with an emphasis on music and how it's affected culture. And my Professor is from Australia. Which just makes it that much more cool. As for my job, I'm going to teach 2 labs and work in the drop in lab where kids can just come any time with any questions that they have. I also sit in on one of the lectures. And I found out today that the Professor for that lecture is actually a Roman Catholic! Now how's that for a twist!
I still haven't taken any pix of my apartment, but as you know, it's tiny. But it's not that bad. I'm not going to be home very much in the first place... But I have some pretty cool roommates. The one I actually share a room with is going into linguistics and is actually taking Chinese 101 this semester. So I get to be his tutor for that, which is going to be a lot of fun. Anyway, that's what up with me. Just enjoying being back at school. If I ever do get around to taking pictures of my apartment, then I'll be sure to post them so you all know how big it isn't.

T-shirts and apperall

Before you order any apperall or t-shirts, let me know what they are. I have huge discounts through the US Olympic Committee and the University of Utah.

A few of my suppliers owe me some favors, so we can usually get free screenprinting or embroidery.

T-Shirts

For those of you not in the loop these are ring t's. They have a different color of fabric for the ring around the neck and sleeves. They look good on both boys and girls. Oh and just one of the places I saw it was on www.asapshirt.com they have a whole section of their website devoted to family reunion T-shirts. If we go with the "we're all nuts" shirt, I think we should do a big family tree on the front with Adams Reunion printed across it, then on the back should be a picture of a chipmonk/squirl (Sarah's a good artist for that if we need on) with the "we're all nuts" printed above it.

T-shirts

I still haven't come up with anything for sure for my "Grandma night" but I am thinking if I only get to teach every 5 years [and one never knows how many 5 years we have left] that I would want the lesson to center around the Savior and the atonement and I don't want to put that on a T-shirt. [too much like "Jesus Saves" on a bill-board] So the design is open for ideas. For starters how about "Adams Family Reunion"
"Doing fine in '09"
Maybe even have every one's name to spell out "doing fine in 09. Another idea,
"All the nuts on our family tree" with all of our names. I like the idea of each family being in the same color. Maybe the grandchildren in each family in a lighter shade (or darker shade) of the grandparents. Coments please! Love you all

Fire Danger

This morning the babies and I were sitting in the living room and then I started hearing sirens. I thought "Man that sounds close." The sirens kept getting louder and louder until finally they stoped in front of my apartment building. I didn't see any immediate danger so I went out side and asked what was going on. A neighbor in another building said that there was a fire upstairs. In the apartment above mine.

So I run inside and grab up my two boys and head out the door. Then just a minute later 6-7 fireman come walking down the stairs shaking their heads like, "oh my gosh....we got called in for that?" And laughing. So I asked them what happened. The people upstairs, you must understand, are from Africa. They thought that the light in their furnace was the start of a fire that wasn't supposed to be there so they called 911. It was just the pilot light. Quite an interesting morning.
