8 months pregnant...and feeling it
I took some pictures of me pregnant today cause some of my friend wanted to see what I looked like. I guess telling them to imagine me with a ball under my shirt wasn't good enough. A BASKETBALL people, not a baseball or a football, is it really that hard? So I figured I'd post my best profile picture on here too. If you want to see the rest just click on my blog. Today is Lydia's 2nd birthday, I can't believe it's already here. She is growing up so fast. She got a pretty dress up dress from her Granny and Papa Rone for her birthday, and she LOVES it. Isn't she so cute?!

Winter fun
We spent some time playing in the snow this morning. Hyrum is chucking a snowball from his fort (that is the white dot that looks like it is in the top of the tree directly over Hyrum's blue fort).
Next picture is Lillly standing behind her blue and purple fort (the purple doesn't show up very well).These last two are Lilly making a snow angel, and the snow angel Hyrum made. We played till 1:30pm. then I had to come in and get to work.

Freedom of Choice Act Petition
Obama told Planned Parenthood that the first thing he would do as president is sign the freedom of choice act. That would allow partial birth abortions, and other things that I am pretty sure that most of our family is against to become legal. Will you please get on this web sight and sign this petition. Danton's Birthday
We know the day of Danton's birthday. Since I had an emergency C section with Lydia my Dr urged me to do a planned C section with Danton because of the risks of doing a regular delivery after a C section.
I'm 34 weeks now and have about 6 weeks till my due date Feb 24. BUT I only have to wait 4 weeks till FEB 12. That is a Thursday. I don't remember teh exact time, 7 something.
I'm not excited about having a C section, I'd still rather personally do VBAC, but it is a nice relief knowing an absolute Dead Line. I'm still secretly hoping that I go into Labor before my C section and it goes so fast that by the time we get to the ER they say, "things are going smooth, I think we can just go ahead with the dilevery". But I've already done it once, and looking back, recovery wasnt' that bad. The hard part is gettign out of bed for about 3 weeks, and not over doing it with out realizing it. The pain and soreness goes away faster then you'd think. Well at least it did last time.

Chappy Family 2008 year in review
I don't really want to write this much, it was a hard year for us. I will try to write happy things but then it might get a little boring. In January Justin and I got one year older (26 and 27) and we had a big train b-day party for David who turned 3.
Taylor had her princess party and turned 1 in February.
March, my Dad (Keith)left for Iraq. I really miss him being around I really look forward to the times he gets to come home. (June, Oct, and Jan. I believe were those months)
April, Justin and I Finlay got the nerve up to ask for a babysitter for a couple nights. We had a wonderful time away just the two of us, we couldn't go far but Branson was perfect anyway.
June I went to girls camp and had the time of my life, but the morning after (June 21) I got home was when our sorrow started. Justin's Dad had died of a massive heart attach in the night and it was very very unexpected he was only 61. I did the flowers for his funeral, and it was a great honor to have been asked and the last thing that I could do for him. It was very hard but I think it was the best I had ever done.
Our sorrow didn't end though, within 3 weeks (July 9) we had to say good bye to Justin's brother Ryan (14) who died from complications from meningitis. They were both such amazing people and we miss them so much.
It is hard to say good bye but in August we got to go to the temple where Alex, Justin's brother who was leaving on a mission, got his endowments, another brother stood proxy for Ryan to get his endowments, and 4 of the newly adopted siblings were sealed to his Mom and Dad. It was an amazing day. One of the best of our lives.
October was fun with 2 little kids and Halloween, they were thing one and thing two from the Cat in the Hat.
December was great too. We had Justin's family and my mom, Glenda, Dale, and the Elders all over for our Christmas Eve dinner that was perfect. Then Justin's mom and siblings stayed the night and we had Christmas morning together. But Justin was really sick on Christmas day so we just stayed home. New Years Eve my whole family was together for the first time in a long time and we had our Christmas. It was great to have Dad home again.

Keith Son of Garry's Year in Review
2008 was good to me. In January, I flew out with mom and dad to Vegas and we rented a car to drive up to Cedar City to see Garry Sheri and family. On their way up to see Sarah Mark and family, they dropped me off back in Provo where I started my sophomore year at BYU. Chinese classes, a New Testament class and you can't forget the Dance class. I meet great friends in my Dance class, including Margaret Ebeling, who I ended up dating from February till the end of the semester. We spent around 5 hours a week or so dancing, in class, practicing for class and repairing for Dancesport. We ended up getting cut just before the quarterfinals in triple swing, but we still had tons of fun in the process. It was just a good semester all the way around.
I headed back home to Missouri for the summer where I worked at Murfins, the local grocery store. Though it didn't exactly pay very well, I still really enjoyed my job there, mostly because of the people I worked with. I was called to be the Activities Committee Chairman for the student ward in Springfield, which basically meant I was in charge of FHE. By the end of the summer, we actually had quite a few people in attendance every week.
In July, I was a counselor at EFY in Lawrence, Kansas. That was TONS of fun! It was so much fun to be there at the same time as Nancyann and Joseph. It was also fun to get to know and work with the kids in my group. I loved EFY as a participant, but it was 100x better as a counselor.
Come September, I took off for China for one of the greatest experiences in my life! While in China, I earned 13 credits for my Chinese Major at BYU. But the best part was not the classes (though they were good), it was the friendships that I made while there. We traveled all over China in the 3 1/2 months I was there. We climbed Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain), went all over Nanjing (the city I was in) and went to tons of other places in China. We went to Guilin and Yangshuo and took a bamboo raft down the Li River (in my opinion, one of the most beautiful places in the world). We took a 10 day trip to Luoyang, Xi'an and Beijing. Luoyang was where Buddhism was brought into China and also where the Shaolin Temple is. I got to go up on stage there and do some Kungfu and I won a competition between 2 other people and I. Xi'an was an all around cool city. It is also where the first Emperor who unified China had his capitol and was buried. Near his tomb the Terracotta Warriors were found, so we got to see those as well. Then in Beijing, we climbed the Great Wall, went to the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square and, of course, the Olympic Venues (the Water Cube and the Birds Nest). Beijing was also a really cool city with lots going on and tons to see. We took a weekend trip to Shanghai and had tons of time to ourselves. We got to go all over the place and get to know the city a little bit better. But December 11 came way too fast when I had to say goodbye to all of my friends.
On December 12th, I took off to Taiwan to visit my mission. I spent some time up in Taoyuan with one of my former companions. I got to go to the Temple in Taibei, which was an awesome experience. I got to see the Taibei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world. I then flew out to Penghu, an island that I served on for 6 months. Then back to Kaohsiung, Pingdong, and Guiren, all former areas. All the while renewing old friendships and talking to people I hadn't seen in up to 4 years. I even managed to make some new friends in the process. Then backup to Taoyuan to catch my flight home.
I had a 20 hour layover in LA after a 13 hour flight from Hong Kong. Luckily my mom has an aunt who lives in the area. She picked me up and I got to hang out with a 2nd cousin that I hadn't ever meet before. It was lots of fun, but then I finally got back home on December 21st, and was able to spend the holidays with family.
I finished the year off at a party at the Guison's house (2nd cousins on my mom's side). It was a crazy fun party and I didn't leave until 5:00am when I went back home, got dad up and drove up to the Kansas City airport where I caught a plane to Utah where I would start a new year and a new semester at BYU.
One major milestone from this past year was finally figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life. I want to be a High School Chinese teacher. Unfortunately, I didn't figure that out until AFTER I had already registered for the coming semester. So the first few weeks of 2009 were spent attempting to figure out my new schedule.

History is History
Grandma, I did a 2008 year in review but put it on our blog, I tried to post it on here but it got deleted somehow when I was posting it so I surrender! Please just get it off of our blog! :)
2008 with the Garry Adams 2 Family
On New Year’s Day of 2008 we were released from the hospital after having baby Rachel. What a fun way to bring in the new year. A few days later Mom & Dad Adams came out to Utah to visit and help us with the baby. Having them visit was such a blessing! They helped with the kids and made many much-needed improvements to our apartment for us. Uncle Keith (little Keith) came down from Provo and Garry was able to give Rachel’s blessing on January 6th with his dad and brother in the circle. She was one week old. Soon after, we celebrated Little Garry’s 2nd birthday.
In February we got our tax return (larger than expected, thanks baby Rachel for coming in time to give us a tax break!) and decided to go ahead and use it to get Garry Lasik surgery on his eyes. We did it, he loved it, but sometimes I secretly dream of what it would have been like to use that money for a washer and dryer or a trip to Europe. Whenever this happens, I ask him if it was worth it, and he always assures me that being able to see is the best thing ever, and I am content.
In May our family had the opportunity to see Marshall into the MTC. It was fun to be his pretend parents.
In June my Grandma Delsa came out to visit for a few weeks and we spent many days over at my parents’ house ripping out carpet and laying wood laminate floors with her. Meanwhile, Garry and I both resumed school in the summer semester, and I finished my Associates Degree.
August rolled in and Garry’s paychecks wouldn’t clear the bank, even when we held them for a couple of weeks. We were getting very worried about money and spent many weeks praying (and fasting) about what to do. Then one day we received a call from a man in Las Vegas offering Garry a job. It was an answer to prayers and on the 18th of September we moved down to Nevada. The very next day we flew out of Vegas for a trip to Missouri (it had been planned long before the move was).
In Missouri we had a wonderful time visiting family. The kids LOVED all of the attention they received, and it was lovely to relax after the move and spend time with everyone.
Garry started his new job on the 29th of September (the day after we returned from vacation). This job is more network and business oriented, so he has many opportunities to expand his working knowledge of servers and networks. He really enjoys his work and does it well.
Two weeks after we moved into the ward we were called to the nursery. This was a challenge for both of us, as we were hoping to make friends and get involved in the ward. We joined the choir and attend any ward activities that we hear about, and that helps some.
Thanksgiving was spent back up in Cedar with my parents and little brother. We had a good time, and I didn’t even have to touch a naked turkey. I made the resolution to always be with family on Thanksgiving so I never have to stuff a turkey.
Christmas season this year was the best EVER! Little Garry really understood about Christmas and Santa and Baby Jesus. We spent many evenings driving around looking at Christmas lights; Little Garry LOVED it. He loved pointing to and discussing the beautiful lights. “ooooo, look at THAT one!! That one’s GWEAT! Look Dad, look those byoo-ful LIGHTS! And a CHRISTMAS tree!”
2008 has been very good to us and we are looking forward to another wonderful year with our beautiful little family.

The Rone 2008 year History
The Rone's started off 2008 with the celebration of Lydia's first birthday. It was extra special because we got to celebrate with Grandma and Grandpa (Mom and Dad) at our house. I think that was the first time we witnessed Lydia hyper on sugar from her birthday cake. That was an eye opener.
Shortly after that we made the decision to move back to MO from Idaho. It was a hard decision for us because Idaho had been very good to our family. We had many great expirences, learned a lot of new things, made a TON of great friends, and finaly got to start our family.
We planned to move back in May. In the mean time Mark finished up his semester at ISU, and Lydia and I had the oportunity to be in the Musical "City of Joseph".
Keith came up from Provo when he was done with school and stayed with us for 2 weeks to help up pack and clean and move back. Moving in a van across country is not fun, but we manages with out any problems or delays. Lydia slept at least half the drive if not more.
We stayed in Willard for the Summer with our parents while Mark found a job and earned the money we needed to move out. While we were there Lydia got to know her Aunts and Uncles very well, and Mark helped Dad with the tile in their new kitchen. Me, I was just tired all summer cause I was in my first trimester of pregnancy. I did get to go to Girls camp with the ward, and learned how to put a banjo together and do minor repairs. I also got a fiddle at the end of the summer.
Then at the end of the summer we moved into an apartment in Nixa to be close to Marks work. We live right above one of my cousins which is very helpful in many ways. We found out we are having a Boy at the end of Feb and his name is going to be Danton Jeremy Rone.
This fall Mark bought his first gun, and I got back into a tap dance class. Yeah, it's funny to see a pregnant woman tap dance.
We got to spend the holiday season with both sides of our family with was nice. As the year came to a close life has settled down. Lydia is learning how to be a good big sister as Mommy gets bigger by the day, and Daddy helps keep her sane. :)

Not a History
Well, I know I probably should write a history thingy like Rissy did, but I will get to that later. I realized that it has been quite a while since I have posted any sort of an update on here about my life. First of all, China was pretty much amazing. Highlights: Shaolin Temple (check out my blog for a video), Terracotta Warriors, Beijing and all that is there (Olympic Venues, Great Wall, all around way cool city), Shanghai (huge, very modern city, tons of fun), and last but not least, way awesome friends. I'll eventually get all of my pictures up on the internet somewhere, probably google photos. But that will probably a little while. Well, being home for Christmas as the best! I have really missed being around family. I went to a crazy New Years party at the Guison's house (2nd cousins on my mom's side, and if you don't know them, party at the Guison's place = tons of people and tons of fun) I left the next morning for BYU. Thank you SO MUCH Aunt Terri for picking me up and letting me crash at your place! And then thanks again for taking me down here to Provo and all of your help! Getting down here and finding my apartment was 100x easier than last year. We found my new place without any trouble and got all moved in. As of right now, I have meet all of my room mates, and I think I'm in for a really fun semester. One of my room mates went to New York Cantoneses speaking on his mission, but knows a little bit of Manderin, and another is actually from Hong Kong. So even if I don't get into a Chinese class, I'll still get to use it this semester! I'm way excited. Anyway, it's time for ward prayer, so I need to take off. I'll get my history up within a week or so.

Comptons in 2008
This year has been a long one. At the beginning of the year, I had just realized I was pregnant with our third child. We had been living in Kansas City for 7 months, all for mike to go to aviation maintenance school. Life felt practicly the same everyday. Then in March we celebrated Alexanders 1st birthday...and a week later in April, Mikey's 2nd. And with a two year old we decided it was time to start potty training. Had we know what that meant....we would have given up before we started.
Every day I would try to keep the house running...try being the key word here. On Sundays we became more and more a part of our ward, making a lot of friends, and phasing out of the "new family in the ward" stage. We got to see another uncle off on his mission. Uncle Marshall. And soon it was time for another bundle of joy in our family, Gavin. Born June 28.
School and work kept dredging on for mike, and some days we'd pick up or drop off a family member at the Kansas City International Airport. This was our first year at attempting a garden, which we shared with our neighbors. Mostly we got jalapenos and basil. Lots and LOTS of basil. Shortly after Gavin was born Xander FINALLY started walking. And somewhere in here, we finally got a large HDTV. (mike thought that was important).
In October we celebrated Mike's little brother getting home from his mission, but mourned the passing of his grandpa. Mike's birthday was on the 26th and he turned 25. For halloween we went to the ward party and all the kids were super guys, and I was super mom. Daddy had to work.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with mike's parents, and mike began his last leg of school. Studying for the rest of his finals. this is right around when Mikey began to sing his whole alphabet by himself, and Gavin could roll over from front to back and back to front. Then on Dec 4th Daddy graduated in the top of his class. He accepted a job in TX to work for L-3 communications fixing airplanes. Christmas time was spent at mom's house. Keith was home from college and I got to spend some time with my siblings before we moved 6 hours away.
The Monday after Christmas, me and my dad, drove to TX found a house to rent, signed the lease, and came back to Mo all in one day. So 2008 has been an end to a wonderful chapter of our life in MO. 2009 we will move to TX, and begin another chapter as our little family of 5.

And soon it was time for another bundle of joy in our family, Gavin. Born June 28.
School and work kept dredging on for mike, and some days we'd pick up or drop off a family member at the Kansas City International Airport. This was our first year at attempting a garden, which we shared with our neighbors. Mostly we got jalapenos and basil. Lots and LOTS of basil. Shortly after Gavin was born Xander FINALLY started walking. And somewhere in here, we finally got a large HDTV. (mike thought that was important).
In October we celebrated Mike's little brother getting home from his mission, but mourned the passing of his grandpa. Mike's birthday was on the 26th and he turned 25. For halloween we went to the ward party and all the kids were super guys, and I was super mom. Daddy had to work.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with mike's parents, and mike began his last leg of school. Studying for the rest of his finals. this is right around when Mikey began to sing his whole alphabet by himself, and Gavin could roll over from front to back and back to front. Then on Dec 4th Daddy graduated in the top of his class. He accepted a job in TX to work for L-3 communications fixing airplanes. Christmas time was spent at mom's house. Keith was home from college and I got to spend some time with my siblings before we moved 6 hours away.
The Monday after Christmas, me and my dad, drove to TX found a house to rent, signed the lease, and came back to Mo all in one day. So 2008 has been an end to a wonderful chapter of our life in MO. 2009 we will move to TX, and begin another chapter as our little family of 5.

Things such as births, marriages, missions, moves, schooling, awards, recognitions, new callings or releases or anything of interest. You can put here on the blog or you can email it directly to me. It can be as simple or elaborate as you want to make it but I would really appreciate it if you would all let your voice be heard and be included in the "First Annual Adams Collected Histories." Lets start a new tradition.
